Teachers Day.....2017

yes it is day of celebrating the teachers....BUT celebrate who? by whom? how? and for what...? 

It is only symbolic and purely official.....The real significance and the sanctity, morality of the profession is no more seen either by teachers by themselves or by students and or even by their parents and of course or not even by the public at large....This is due to largely by the fault of the teachers themselves and the governments policies...

Government schools were really were good and teachers were forced to be good and resourceful as there was no choice and the parents were the real observers of the teachers performance....but now.......one feels a shame or below their dignity or prestige to study in government schools and hence no accountability for the government school teachers....and in urban the conditions are still worse as parents think that sending their children to some reputed schools....(meaning...depending on the amount collected in the for m of donation or some building fund) and forget about their children...and even to compete they send their children to special coaching classes....Very strange!! I feel....this is a good opportunity for both parents to escape from their duties and for teachers to earn their extra income....

Except some genuine teachers nobody prefers to be in teaching line or profession as a teacher......it is not their choice but only a chance for their survival after a full scale rejection in all the fields they had tried...and this is the real condition and really appalling....

Hence my request my teachers community on this day would be prove your worth in knowledge and deed....at least love your students...teach them humanity and loving their companions....

Anyway....I am more concerned about my STUDENTS...and I take this opportunity to thank them all wherever they are in any part of the planet, for their wonderfully innocent company for such long period of four decades....right from 1972 to till today.....no words would suffice to express my gratitude to them for their absolutely selfless and unconditional love for me....
